🌧️ Food Trailer Event #2: Rain, Leftovers & Lessons

Well… outing number two was a soggy one.

We rolled in prepared for everything
except a day-long drizzle that never let up.
It. Never. Stopped. Raining.

We had five gallons of lemonade ready to go… and sold one cup.
Just one.
We prepped 48 sourdough pizzas… and sold 10.
(Okay, we may have helped eat a few. Quality control, right? 😅)

But if there’s one thing rain is good for… it’s forced organization.

With slow sales, we took advantage of the downtime to get our trailer setup figured out:

  • Better storage
  • Smoother workflow
  • Zero scrambling (progress!)
  • And a firm realization that our generator could headline a rock concert

So while our revenue was… less than inspiring
our systems got a glow-up. Silver lining.

Now the trailer is plugged in, prepped, and we’re manifesting sunshine for this Saturday. ☀️🍕🥤
Stay tuned — the season is just getting started!

From the trailer (with leftovers),
Stacy

P.S. Apparel 212 has been quiet lately… but still open if you need a cute tee while waiting for pizza 😉

I’m Stacy…

Navigating the middle with caffeine, courage, and a whole lot of “let’s just try it and see.” I built an online boutique (Apparel 212), and now I’m pivoting into food-trailer chaos while paying down debt and figuring out midlife hormones. This is the honest, messy side of reinventing life in my late-40s/50ish years — where the middle isn’t the end… it’s just where the story gets good.
