When the Truckers 4 Hope Truck Show rolled around, we knew we wanted the trailer there. The only problem? Pizza and bubble tea were already on the menu elsewhere at the event. So the big question became: What could we bring that was different—but still fun enough to draw a crowd?
Enter dirty soda.
If you haven’t met dirty soda yet, it’s your everyday fountain drink that decided to glow-up. You start with something familiar—Coke, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, Root Beer—and then mix in flavored syrups, cream, or fruity twists.
Think Coke + coconut + lime, Dr. Pepper + vanilla cream, or Sprite + strawberry + peach.
It’s playful, customizable, and just a tiny bit addictive once you find your combo.
We introduced it at the truck show, and it was an instant hit—especially with the adults. People were curious, asking, “What exactly is a dirty soda?” and then coming back for a second round once they tried it. It didn’t take long for us to realize this wasn’t a one-time experiment…
Dirty soda was officially joining the Something Sourdough lineup.
Now, it’s one of our favorite trailer add-ons. It gives people something new to try, it’s kid-friendly and adult-approved, and it pairs perfectly with pizza, cookies, or stands proudly on its own. I’m already dreaming up seasonal flavors—pumpkin, caramel, peppermint… yes, please.
Our Most Popular Dirty Sodas (So Far)
These were the runaway favorites at Truckers 4 Hope and every event since.
1. Campfire cola
Dr. Pepper + Toasted Marshmallow + Vanilla + Cream
(A cozy, fireside kind of drink without needing an actual campfire… or smelling like one.)
2. The Classic
Coke + Coconut + Lime + Cream
(Tastes like a beach day hid inside a soda cup — bright, creamy, and a little bit addictive.)
3. The Cherry Bomb
Coke + Cherry + Vanilla + Cream
(A nostalgic cherry-vanilla moment with a creamy twist. Think old-school soda fountain meets modern dirty soda glam.)
4. The Caramel Root Beer
Root Beer + Salted Caramel + Vanilla + Cream
(Like a root beer float that quit being basic and went deluxe. Sweet, smooth, and a crowd favorite every time.)
