Today was a long day of doctor appointments and scans, but we just keep moving forward one step at a time.

We should have results from the scans in the next couple of days.

As of now, the plan is to start immunotherapy before surgery to remove the melanoma lesion. The hope is that it will shrink things down and make surgery less invasive.

We also have two appointments scheduled at UPenn to get their thoughts on the plan moving forward.

Right now, I’m just sitting here waiting for the PET scan to be done… and realizing how much of this process is just learning to wait.

For now… we wait, we pray, and we keep going.

I’m Stacy…

Navigating the middle with caffeine, courage, and a whole lot of “let’s just try it and see.” I built an online boutique (Apparel 212), and now I’m pivoting into food-trailer chaos while paying down debt and figuring out midlife hormones. This is the honest, messy side of reinventing life in my late-40s/50ish years — where the middle isn’t the end… it’s just where the story gets good.
