About – Figuring it out at 50

Hi, I’m Stacy — and I definitely don’t have it all together.
Not even close.

At almost 50, I’m teaching high school cosmetology, trying to breathe life back into my online boutique (Apparel 212), and—because I clearly enjoy a challenge—I’m launching a food trailer that serves sourdough pizza and bubble tea.

Yes. You read that correctly. Pizza, bubble tea, and beauty school — all in one life.

I started this blog because midlife doesn’t come with an instruction manual. There isn’t one “right” path. There are pivots, plot twists, and messy attempts at new beginnings. And honestly? That’s where all the good stories live.

Sometimes I’m wiping sauce off my shirt while writing product descriptions.
Sometimes I’m questioning every decision I’ve ever made.
Most of the time, I’m just figuring it out as I go.

But there’s joy in the chaos — and I want to share that.

What you’ll find here

  • Food Trailer Life: Behind-the-scenes, recipes, reality
  • Style & Skincare After 40: Things that actually work (not return-to-sender)
  • Money & Side Hustles: Paying down debt, trying new ideas, failing forward
  • Real Life: Family, hormones, humor, and the middle of the story

Because if you’re here, you’re probably figuring things out too:
career, hormones, kids, marriage, identity shifts, new dreams…
or maybe just what’s for dinner again.

Why “Figuring It Out at 50”?

Because the middle isn’t the end.
It’s just where the story gets good.

So grab some coffee (or bubble tea 🤣), settle in, and let’s do this midlife thing together.

Still figuring it out — with caffeine and questionable confidence,
Stacy

I’m Stacy…

Navigating the middle with caffeine, courage, and a whole lot of “let’s just try it and see.” I built an online boutique (Apparel 212), and now I’m pivoting into food-trailer chaos while paying down debt and figuring out midlife hormones. This is the honest, messy side of reinventing life in my late-40s/50ish years — where the middle isn’t the end… it’s just where the story gets good.
